Place your screen cursor on the location where you want to insert the special character. Press and hold down the Alt key on the left side of your keyboard. Press and release the + key on the numeric keypad. Type the hexadecimal Unicode code point, using the numeric keypad for digits 0–9 and the normal keys for letters A–F. Release the Alt key.

Press and hold down the Alt key. As you hold down the Alt key, enter the Alt code for the symbol or character you want to type. After you’ve entered the code, release the Alt key.

Press and hold the Alt key on your physical keyboard and use your mouse left-click to type the required number (s). When you are done, release the Alt key on your physical keyboard. If you are a laptop user, you may have to press the Fn key along with the Alt key.

Press the Num Lock key to activate the numeric key section of the keyboard. 2. Press and hold the Alt key. 3. While the Alt key is pressed, type the sequence of numbers (on the numeric keypad) from the Alt code in the table below. 4. Release the Alt key, and the character will appear.

Make sure the Num Lock key is on. Press and hold down your left Alt key. Press the 1 key on your Number pad. Press the 5 key on your Number pad. Press the 5 key on your Number pad.
